A massive step in the right direction has come in our local community as Newington Gunners Football Club announce that they will collaborate with GFDA/BFDA in future programs to give players at their club an opportunity to train and be trained by highly experienced coaches, work on their technical skills at high levels, grow their individual football and have an environment for all players to grow and develop in. 🔥⚽️

Girls/Boys Football Development Australia welcomed historic Football club Marconi Stallions-Women Youth and Senior teams to our “Centre of Excellence”.
In what was a great sign for us knowing we have a venue of such quality that a club like Marconi wanted to train out of.
Marconi are travelling well as a club and have high aspirations in trying to get promoted in the NSW PREMIER LEAGUE

Hi all FOOTBALL Members,
As much as what we are going through is definitely tough and draining I am hoping this email may ignite some positive energy in your minds.
Want to be more positive, optimistic, and happy? Well, luckily there are lots of ways to develop a more positive mindset. Check out a few tips I put together to hopefully start shifting your mindset.
Past-focused positive mindset. This involves thinking about the past positively. For example, we might express gratitude, savor the good moments, and reminisce.
Present-focused positive mindset. This involves focusing our attention on what's currently good and reframing difficult situations in a more positive light.
Future-focused positive mindset. This involves things like optimism and positive expectations.Another way to think about the parts of a positive mindset is to think about self- versus other-focus.
Self-focused positive mindset. This involves things like positive self-esteem, self-love, and self-confidence. It's about paying attention to your positive qualities and strengths.
Other-focused positive mindset. This involves things like kind thoughts, trust, and empathy. It's about paying attention to the positive things in others.
In final as much as this is email is something so little I really hope the message finds the person that needs it most. Stay strong as I do believe we will be moving in the right direction in the future.With that said I am personally open for any player that wants to work on putting together a personal goal list for the future, at-home or park training sessions to do, or even just to ignite some positive energy.

Girls & Boys Football Development Australia message to all.
MINDSET:
The true meaning of a Growth Mindset is the belief that a person's most basic abilities can be developed through dedication, hard work and practice.
They believe that their natural level of intelligence, as well as their talents, are just a starting point and that with time and dedication these can improve to a level that is not only the very best, but that can also surpass others’ pre-existing levels of talent.
Such a mindset then nurtures a hunger and a passion for learning and constant self-improvement, as well as resilience that is essential in order to achieve significant accomplishments.
To put that into perspective, real-world examples of those with growth mindsets could be both entrepreneur Bill Gates and the professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Both men possessed natural intelligence and talent in their professions, but both men also dedicated their lives to learning and self-improvement in order to be leaders in their respective fields.
Goals that encourage employees to experiment and learn - whether the outcome is successful or not - nurture a growth mindset and transform an employees trajectory through the introduction of continued self-development, passion for learning and confidence to push further and be better.
Stay positive and keep your head up.

Girls Football Development Australia competed in its FIRST EVER soccer tournament on both Monday and Tuesday at the Macarthur FC Bulls cup and oh they didn’t disappoint.
What an event!!!
Thank you to all involved at the competition, it was absolutely fantastic.
The girls team consisted of mixed ages of 8,9 and 10 and they participated in the u10s boys competition.
The girls quickly became the competition favourites with their amazing jerseys by our main sponsors Macron and attractive brand of football that was played.
Over the two days the girls played a whopping 13 games and overall became competition runners up 🔥☺️
On the last day of the tournament they conceded 1 goal in 6 games and just proved how tenacious they were. Absolutely No Fear from any of them.
GFDA is one proud brand and the girls just proved how strong girl power really is.
Overall a huge success not only competing but being GFDA first ever competitive competition we entered.
The step has been taken and the gates are now open as take the steps to enter more competitions.

To inspire and develop the next generation of Matilda`s and Socceroos
Each age group's program will run throughout a forty week period over four terms - based off of NSW school term dates.
Your daughter/s and son/s will be coached by experienced qualified coaches and challenged to their abilities.
Each session will enforce high-quality sportsmanship and skills amongst the girls and boys to develop lasting relationships with each other and improve each player's technical ability.
Registration is completed on a term basis. .

Leah Blayney is an influencial member of Football in the country.
As head coach of the Young Matilda`s and Future Matilda`s program she possess great leadership and mentorship skills to all female players and guides them through the necessary steps in becoming a professional player and in representing the Country.
Leah is a highly rated Australian soccer coach and former player, who represented Boston Breakers in the American WPS. She played for Australia at the 2004 FIFA Under 19 Women's World Championship and 2006 FIFA Under 20 Women's World Championship.
A stronger believer in the GFDA program, Leah has been keeping a closeful eye on the program and passes her knowledge and advice in making the program better than ever, something we take on board and fully respect.
We thank Leah for her commitment to coming to the program and taking GFDA under her wing.

Chloe Logarzo is an Australian International soccer Midfielder who currently plays for Bristol City in the FA Women`s Super League and the Australian National team. Chloe has had a tremendous career taking her around the planet playing the world game.
Her strong desire to be the very best alongside giving back to the younger generation as a role model and mentor gave GFDA coaches and players great delight when she came to training.

Teresa ` T ` Polias has long been a member of Women`s football players in the country. Teresa made her debut in the W league for the Central Coast Mariners until she transferred to Sydney FC.
Teresa became such an integral member of the sky blues she was rewarded with the captaincy soon after her move as well as having captured the 2012 SFC Player of the year.
With numerous games played in the W League alongside Championships Teresa has also played for the National teams over 20 times.
T is a valuable asset to GFDA and without her hard work and passion GFDA wouldn't be where it is today.

Leena Khamis is an Australian soccer player who currently plays for W League club Western Sydney Wanderers.
Leena Khamis brings wealth of experience to the Westfield W League since its inauguration and has notched over 100 apperances across stints with Sydney FC, Canberra United and WSW.
Alongside her impressive career Leena has scored over 40 times in the W league putting her on the all-time-goal scoring list.
Even more impressive is that Khamis has also worn the green and gold of Australia on 25 occasions.
What an absolute role model Leena is for all young aspiring footballers.

She is one hell of a talent. She now plays her football in the National Premier League`s NSW Women`s competition for Northern Tigers.

Princess Ibini is without doubt the most exciting player to come through the Australian set up. A very young talented footballer who plays for Sydney FC.
Princess has already won the W League and furthermore has represented the National team in the u17s, u20`s and the Matilda`s.
A gifted footballer blessed with electric speed. To have someone of her calibre come down to GFDA and take photos alongside answer questions was a blessing to all.
